I am interested in currently investing in the low oil and natural gas prices without an eft but down the road I’ll mostly be investing in stocks. I will be starting with around 0 to invest so I need lower commission sites.
I am 25 have other investments and this is just my play money and willing to be risky with it.
I didn’t see anything about commodities on Scottrade or Charles Schwab. If there is give me the link.

Try Interactive Brokers. But with $500 lots a luck…you’ll need it! I suggest you instead time the purchase of gasoline for your car by observing the correlation of price to the wholesale price in the futures market. I’ve been doing this for years. It saves me at least 10% on the cost of driving (perhaps as much as $250 a year) by playing the volatility day to day. I only fill up on ‘down moves’ I may not catch the bottom (I need the gas!) but if you are flexible you can ‘profit’ from the market one way or the other. The difference between trading and saving is the risk!
