Im not new to trading im a trend follower/ band trader i mostly use technical analysis but i trade stocks. Recently a few days ago i said wth why not try forex because i was reading about Randy Mckay who turned 2000 into 70000 in just 7 months! WOW. Before i start trading for real though i want to know alot more about this business. Is babypips.com a good site to do schooling on??? I am currently playing the virtual stock games online and I am very good at it. If it were real money I’d be rich. So I was wanting to put some real money to the test. However.. what I’ve been doing in the "game" is trading stocks constantly as soon as I’m up even or 0 on them then buying something else. This is a LOT of trading all day long. The game doesn’t have any fees for trading but all the sites I’ve seen do. This would definitely affect my profit if I was charged per trade. Can anyone help me?!

I am nearly 18, and I have a very strong interest in Forex trading. I have a practice account with FX Express and have discovered some interesting things and techniques that I’ve discovered myself on how to make money.

I’ve developed my own strategy that works everytime I trade so far, and I’m making 10% compounded everyday I place a trade. in fact I want it to be my career. I will open up a live account with real money as soon as I turn aged 18 with maybe a couple of hundred. The only problem is that my mum and step-dad say "You’ll never make a living out of it", or "You’ll lose all your money." What I’d like to know is if its actually possible to make a decent living out of Forex trading and do you or anyone you know currently do this as a day trader. I’d like to prove them wrong.

I’ve been doing fantasy stock trading now for about two years, in order to get better at it for when I have real money to invest. I try to focus on mid term trading (3 months - 2 years of holding the stock). I know the basics of stock trading. The problem I’m having though is that I always end up picking the wrong ones, and if I were using real money, I would have probably gone broke about 20 times by now.

So, anyone have any ideas on how to get better at picking stocks?

I have been on www.howthemarketworks.com for about 3 weeks now. I started with ,000 in virtual money and am randomly choosing stocks between {content}.01-{content}.05. I have seen incredible returns….almost 100% in two weeks. I check the account each day when the market closes and sell off anything that made money.

How close would this simulation parallel trading with real money? My thinking is that it would not be too accurate. Everytime that I purchase a new stock to replace the one I sold, I buy 00 worth. This generally amounts to over 100,000 shares which seems like it would have a significant impact on the stock price in the real world. If anyone could offer some guidance I would greatly appreciate it.
