Hi, i recently got into stock trading and I am need some help.
Does anyone know of any free programs on the internet (like e*trade pro) which allow me to monitor the major stock indexes in the world and which gives me real-time values on stock values, mkt caps, etc…
Also, If it choose to buy a stock from say the ftse online from a company like scottrade or e*trade, do they charge me an additional commission besides those of us-based indexes?

none are free but some have tieup with stock exchanges and have stock tickers on their site update in realtime.
consult your financial adviser before put your money on offshore stocks, you could get in trouble if paper work are not proper.
If you subscribe to a trading account your service provider would any way give you data in realtime from their site.
