I went to the bookstore and flipped through this horrible book about online poker. Basically, it just said to get tracking software and trade files with other people. I didn’t think tracking software made that much of a difference, but now I feel like I have to defend myself against people using it.
Also, what is the best way to defend myself? I know Pokerstars allows multiple usernames, so I can do that, but it seems like such a hassle to keep switching.

The tracking software that most people use on poker websites, follow your playing style and how u play to "read" you when your trying to lie or when u have a good hand.
The best way to defend yourself from being tracked is to change up your style allot, be somewhat predictable. But at the same time be a winner.
Its human natural to do the same thing over and over again at the same setup.

To be honest, don’t use anything like that, doing something that allows cheating anyway through a trojan type virus is illegal and is punishable by law, if you need somewhere to play poker where its checked daily and there are no cheaters, FullTiltPoker is a place to go. And don’t accept any files by other people, it could be a virus that could get personal details. Hope this helps.
